See What the Search Engine Spiders See Wouldn't it help if you actually knew how the search engines viewed your site? I came across a link for a spider simulator tool. It is another cool tool to help you figure out where you stand in the search engines and why: http://tools.summitmedia.co.uk/spider/ when you go there and plug in your web site name it generates a report and a score based upon your description, key words, HI tags, images, loading time, HTML size, body text and number of links. I have four sites and was fairly happy to score 80%, 84%, 88% and 92%. The funny thing is the site that brings is the most business is the one that scored 80%. You can also check your competitor's site score. My closest local competitor only scored 71% and that made me happy as well. This report gives me a printout of what I can do to improve. Check it out for yourself.
